Chatterbox is an exciting new online tool designed to facilitate discussion of difficult and controversial ethical issues in a non-confrontational environment. Participants are invited to align themselves to one of two polarising statements in response to a stimulus question (generally supported by a link to background reading material). Depending on their view, participants are assigned to conversations with other participants, after which they are invited to revisit their position before being allocated to new conversations. The precise length and format of the Chatterbox session is determined by the moderator.
Participation in a Chatterbox discussion is via invitation from a moderator.
A short introduction on how to participate in a Chatterbox is shown in this video.
